Std. KG to Std. V

1.      Continuous and Comprehensive Evaluation (CCE) for all the classes as prescribed by the CBSE.

2.      Written Examination will not be the sole criterion for evaluation and promotion to the next class.

3.      The evaluation will be done in grades. Marks obtained will not be reflected in the Report Card.

4.      Students of Std. KG to Std. V will have three evaluations based on written Unit Tests, Activities, Assignments, Class Responses etc. This evaluation will be conducted by the teachers throughout the year. Promotion to the next class will be based on the cumulative grades obtained by the student in the three evaluations.

Std. VI to Std. X

1.      Continuous and Comprehensive Evaluation (CCE) for all the classes as prescribed by the CBSE.

2.      Students will be assessed on various parameters throughout the year. There will be Continuous and Comprehensive Evaluation of all scholastic and co-scholastic competencies and achievements of the child throughout the year. Promotion to the next class will be based on the students’ performance throughout the year in all activities and not only on his/her performance in the summative examinations.

3.      Written examination will not be the sole criterion for evaluation and promotion to the next class.

4.      The evaluation will be done in grades. Marks obtained will not be reflected in Report Cards.

5.      The schedule of examinations for various classes will be as follows :

a.       There will be only two semesters, April to September and October to March.

b.      Summative Examination (Written Examination) will be conducted at the end of each semester.

c.       Two formative assessments based on various class assessments will also be conducted in each semester. Class Tests, Responses etc. will form an important part of the overall evaluation.

6.      For promotion to next class Final Result will be computed as follows:

i.                    First Semester :            FA1 (10%) + FA2 (10%) + SA1 (20%) = 40%

ii.                  Second Semester:         FA3 (10%) + FA4 (10%) + SA2 (40%) = 60%
